Michael S. Hardy

Michael S. Hardy graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1967, from UCSB in 1971, and from Western State College of Law in 1977. He began his law career in 1977 and for over 45 years, Michael S. Hardy has represented clients involved in a broad range of personal, business and professional endeavors, estate and family wealth planning, probate, conservatorships, guardianships, real estate investments, banking, finance, commercial and business disputes, personal injury litigation and other areas of civil law.

After his former partner, Jack Glines, retired, Michael relocated his law office (formerly known as Glines & Hardy) to 115 West Park Avenue and established the Law Office of Michael S. Hardy. For the past 5 years, he has narrowed his practice to estate planning, trust administration, probate, and business matters. Michael and his staff are excited to join the law firm of Twitchell & Rice, LLP, and to continue to offer quality legal services to his existing clients as well meeting with new clients.

Michael is a member of the Northern Santa Barbara County Bar Association and the California State Bar. He has previously served as Treasurer of the Noon-timers Lions Club, was a member of the Rotary Club of Santa Maria, and served on the Board of Directors for Marian Medical Center.

Michael has been married for 50 years to Debra and together they have three children and six grandchildren.
